Dear Customers
In a recent news release we explained why we had a business requirement to add an administration charge to some methods of payment which were paid direct into 1AB Taxis, the purpose of the charge was to cover the mounting costs incurred by the company in processing those payments.
Following further consultation with Trading standards it is apparent that because of the structure of our company, the administration charge applied to some methods of payment could become difficult for us as a company to administer and separate as required within the Government guidelines.
In view of this updated guidance from trading standards we have decided to restructure the charges to help us comply with guidelines and advice, therefore the re-structuring will be as follows:
With immediate effect we have removed the administration charge from Debit/Credit card, bacs, cheque and any cash paid into 1AB office and you will no longer incur this 50 pence administration charge.
Commencing on 22nd March 2020 we will be adding a 20 pence price rise to all Debit/Credit card, bacs, cheque, cash and any cash paid into 1AB office fares.
In addition to this any out of town job will see a small percentage increase which will take into account the 20 pence rise.
We value your custom and the relationship we have with our loyal customers, as a company we always strive to ensure we deliver to you the best possible service, these changes will enable us to continue to deliver and improve on that service.
Thank you for your custom and support
Directors 1AB Taxis Ltd
